En supersportyvenninne av meg ligger nå på andreplass i en konkurranse der man kan vinne en plass i Norseman- ekstremtriatlon. Dette har vært hennes drøm i åresvis, og hun driver med slik sport nå også. Tror konkurransen avsluttes søndag. Det hadde vært så hyggelig om hun kom med!
Man må like siden og stemme ved å huke av i den lille hvite firkanten. Hun heter Pia Camilla T.

Each year we make the pilgrimage to an idyllic Norwegian town called Eidfjord for the legendary Isklar Norseman Xtreme Triathlon. We proudly sponsor this incredible and challenging long-distance triathlon. The race takes competitors through beautifully stunning regions of Norway. It begins in inky darkness just before dawn on a ferry in the deep blue waters of a fjord and finishes atop mount Gaustatoppen, 1850 meters above sea level for a total ascent of 5000 meters. Only the first 160 athletes are given the opportunity to finish on the mountaintop while what is left of the remaining athletes are required to finish on the mountain plateau below. Limited to only 240 competitors, competition to take part, not just finish Norseman, is fierce and exclusive.
Swim
3.8km in the Hardangerfjord. In recent years, the water temperature at the starting point on race morning has been between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius.
Wetsuits are mandatory.
The swim begins with a water start, after athletes exit the ferry.
Bike
180km from Eidfjord at the Hardangerfjord; on National Road 7, up Måbødalen, across Hardangervidda to Geilo; National Road 40 across Dagalifjell to Uvdal, county roads over Imingfjell to Tessungdalen.
Transition zone (T2) is in Austbygde at Tinnsjøen.
Run
42.2 kilometers from Austbygde towards Rjukan, to the peak of Gaustatoppen. The first 25km are reasonably flat, while the next 17.2km are a consistently steep climb up to 1850m. The first 37.5km are on tarmac; the final stretch to the peak is on a rocky path.
